On March 18, 2025, the Prosecutor General’s Office filed a claim with the Anti-Corruption Court against a private individual, with the Ijevan community of Tavush region involved as a third party, demanding to terminate the individual’s construction right over a 201.6 sq. m. land plot located at 1/61 Ankakhutyun street, Ijevan. The cadastral value of the land plot, approximated to market value, is AMD 1 million 377 thousand.

The claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office was granted by the verdict of the Anti-Corruption Court dated May 11, 2026. The private individual’s construction right over the land plot located at 1/61 Ankakhutyun street was terminated the mentioned verdict.

After the verdict enters into legal force, another land plot located within the Ijevan city park area will be returned to the community.

It should be recalled that, to date, the following properties of the city park in the Ijevan community of Tavush region have already been returned to the Ijevan community:

1. A 0.04 ha land plot located at 1/30 Valans street,
2. A 19 sq. m. land plot located at 18 Taterakan street,
3. A 350.1 sq. m. land plot located at 18/7 Taterakan street,
4. A 19.8 sq. m. land plot located at 18/5 Taterakan street,  
5. A 436 sq. m. land plot located at 1/55 Ankakhutyun street,
6. A 0.06 ha land plot located at 1/29 Valans street,
7. A 0.001 ha land plot located at 1/62 Ankakhutyun street,
8. A 436.8 sq. m. land plot located at 1/54 Ankakhutyun street,
9. A 1500 sq. m. land plot located at 1/41 Ankakhutyun street,
10. A 0.03 ha land plot located at 18/6 Taterakan street,
11. A 0.03 ha land plot located at 1/27 Valans street,
12. A 351 sq. m. land plot located at 1/28 Valans street,
13. An 18 sq. m. land plot located at 18/3 Taterakan street,
14. A 12 sq. m. land plot located at 18/2 Taterakan street.  

In addition, as a result of prosecutorial intervention, a 0.03 ha land plot adjacent to the city park fountains has been returned to the possession and use of the Ijevan community.
