On March 11, 2025, the Prosecutor General's Office filed claims to the Anti-Corruption Court against two individuals and a third person with a demand to terminate the right to build on a 0.06 ha plot of land located at Valans Street 1/29, Ijevan, Tavush Region, and on a 0.001 ha plot of land located at Ankakhutyan Street 1/62, Ijevan.
By the judgments of the Anti-Corruption Court of August 29, 2025, the claims of the Prosecutor General's Office were granted: the right to build on the above-mentioned plots of land of individuals was terminated, and the judgments became legally binding.
Based on the applications of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Cadastre Committee terminated the right to build on the mentioned plots of land of individuals on October 14 and October 22, 2025. These two aforementioned plots of land located in the Ijevan city park have been returned to the community.
It’s worth to remind that tt the initiative of the Department of the State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office, 16 claims were filed with the Anti-Corruption Court, for termination of the development rights over land plots located within the area of the city park of Ijevan community in the Tavush region and for returning those plots to the Ijevan community.
Thus, in the result 8 claims out of 16 were granted and entered into legal force and currently the followings were returned to Ijevan community:
In addition, as a result of prosecutorial intervention, a land plot of 0.03 ha, adjacent to the city park’s fountains, has been returned to the possession and use of the Ijevan community.
