Within the framework of the proceedings for the confiscation of property of illicit origin, based on the petition of the Prosecutor General, the shares of Yerevan "Ararat" Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory OJSC have been transferred to the management and preservation of the Republic of Armenia by the decision of the Anti-Corruption Court.

It should be recalled that on October 9, 2023, the Prosecutor General's Office filed a claim with the Anti-Corruption Court against Gagik Tsarukyan /father’s name: Kolya/ and his affiliates, demanding confiscation of property of illicit origin.

The lawsuit, as property of illegal origin, among other things, required the seizure of the shares of Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory OJSC belonging to Gagik Tsarukyan, in favor of the Republic of Armenia.

On July 29, 2026, the Prosecutor General’s Office submitted to the Anti-Corruption Court a motion to apply a measure of provision of the claim on the transfer of the management and custody of the shares of Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory OJSC to the Republic of Armenia.

By the court’s decision of July 30, 2026, the motion was granted. The management and custody of the shares of Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory OJSC was transferred to the Republic of Armenia, on behalf of the Ministry of Economy.

In addition, the Prosecutor General's Office, in its application for the confiscation of property of illegal origin, demands the confiscation of the following from Gagik Tsarukyan /father’s name: Kolya/ and his affiliates:

Ø  75 real estate properties, which include, among others, 52 apartments in Nor Nork district, 5 apartments on Abovyan Street, 11 apartments in Kotayk region and other real estate,

Ø  Market value of 10 properties,

Ø  42 transportation means,

Ø  Participation in 38 legal entities, including "Multi Group Concern" LLC, "Multi Avtotrans" LLC, "Onira Club" LLC and other legal entities,

Ø  The requested monetary claim amounts to AMD 105 billion 865 million 865 thousand.

Let us recall that on July 13, 2026, within the framework of the case of confiscation of property of illegal origin, the Prosecutor General's Office submitted another petition to the Anti-Corruption Court to apply a measure of security for the claim, on the transfer of the management and custody of the shares of "Araratcement" CJSC to the Republic of Armenia. By the court's decision of July 15, 2026, the petition was granted. The management and custody of the shares of "Araratcement" CJSC was transferred to the Republic of Armenia.
