The Prosecutor General’s Office had reported that, by its judgment of 26 March 2026, the Anti-Corruption Court had granted the claim filed by the Prosecutor General’s Office against the Areni community of Vayots Dzor region and an individual.

By the judgment, the auction held on 7 October 2011 in respect of a 0.12 ha land plot was declared invalid and, as a consequence of its invalidity, i.a., the state registration of the individual’s ownership right over the land plot was also declared invalid.

On the basis of the judicial act having entered into legal force, on 29 August 2026, the ownership right of the Areni community of Vayots Dzor region over the 0.12 ha land plot was registered with the Cadastre Committee.
