As a result of the prosecutorial intervention, the land plot located at the park in Ararat village was returned to the possession of Ararat community
The Prosecutor’s Office of Ararat Region, within the framework of the authority to protect state (community) interests, studied the documents on the allocation of land plots in Ararat village park area of Ararat Region to various persons with the right to make construction.
As a result of the study, among other things, it was found that the former Head of Ararat rural community allocated a 14-square-meter plot of land from the park located at 44/2 Haghtanak Street in Ararat village to an individual with the right to develop for a period of 99 years on August 10, 2007. Within the framework of the study, it was found that the land plot was not used for its purpose by the developer.
The prosecutor has addressed a petition to the Head of Ararat community to take measures to terminate the development right signed between Ararat village and the constructor on August 10, 2007.
Based on the petition, as a result of the measures taken by the competent bodies of Ararat community, on August 24, 2026, the registered development right for a land plot located at 44/2 Haghtanak Street in Ararat village with an area of 14 square meters and a cadastral value of AMD 262 thousand, approximated to the market value, was terminated at the Cadastre Committee.
Work is underway to settle other contracts.
