As a result of the prosecutorial intervention, another plot of land in the park of the town was returned to Ararat community
The Prosecutor's Office of Ararat Region, within the framework of the authority to protect state (community) interests, examined the documents on the allocation of land plots in Ararat town park to various persons.
As a result of the study, among other things, it was found that the former Head of Ararat community A. B., violating the requirements of Article 77, Part 1 of the Land Code in force at the time of the origin of the legal relationship, allocated a land plot of 0.0591 ha located at Aygi 1/1 in the city of Ararat with the right to development for a period of 99 years on April 2, 2008 to an individual. The latter transferred the right to development to another individual on the basis of a donation agreement.
The prosecutor has filed a petition with the Head of Ararat community to take measures to terminate the development right signed between Ararat community and the constructor on April 2, 2008.
Based on the prosecutor's petition, as a result of the measures undertaken by the competent bodies of Ararat community, on June 29, 2026, the registered development right for a land plot located at Aygi 1/1, Ararat town, with an area of 0.0591 ha and a cadastral value of AMD 1 million 109 thousand, approximated to the market value, was terminated at the Cadastre Committee. The land plot was returned to the possession of the community.
Let us remind you that on June 18, 2026, as a result of prosecutorial intervention, the registered development right for a land plot with an area of 0.1280 ha and an approximate market value of AMD 2 million 403 thousand located in Ararat Town Park area at Shahumyan 36/5 was terminated by the Cadastre Committee.
Actions are being taken to address the remaining contracts.
