Since February 7, 2026, from the start of the regular elections of National Assembly, prosecutors have forwarded 17 criminal proceedings on electoral crimes against 60 individuals, to the competent court with an approved indictment, out of which 12 criminal proceedings against 51 individuals, were forwarded to the court by prosecutors of the Department of Supervision over Legality of Pre-Trial Proceedings at the RA Anti-Corruption Committee of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia.

 

The 12 criminal proceedings are:

 

• 1 criminal proceeding against 1 person accused of giving electoral bribery with 2 episodes and 2 persons accused of receiving electoral bribes,
• 1 criminal proceeding against 5 persons accused of giving 3 episodes of electoral bribery and violating the prohibition of charity and receiving electoral bribes,
• 1 criminal proceeding against 2 persons accused of violating the prohibition of charity and aiding and abetting it,
• 1 criminal proceeding against 1 person accused of giving electoral bribery, 2 episodes of material interest in order to participate in the assembly and 1 person accused of receiving electoral bribes as a group,
• 1 criminal proceeding against 3 persons accused of obstructing the exercise of electoral rights, its attempt and preparation,
• 1 criminal proceeding against 2 persons accused of giving electoral bribery, 5 persons accused of assisting in giving electoral bribery and 6 persons accused of receiving electoral bribes proceedings,
• 1 criminal proceeding against 1 person accused of receiving an election bribe,
• 1 criminal proceeding against 2 persons accused of giving an election bribe,
• 1 criminal proceeding against 1 person accused of giving an election bribe and 1 person accused of receiving an election bribe.
• 1 person accused of giving an election bribe in 2 episodes, 2 persons accused of giving an election bribe and receiving an election bribe, 1 criminal proceeding against 2 persons accused of receiving an election bribe,
• 1 criminal proceeding against 2 persons accused of giving an election bribe and 6 persons accused of receiving an election bribe,
• 1 person accused of giving an election bribe, violating the prohibition on charity in 2 episodes, and instigating a material interest in order to participate in a gathering, 2 persons accused of giving an election bribe and 2 persons accused of receiving an election bribe.

In particular:

1. The Head of the security team of the “Strong Armenia” party offered two voters a job, an apartment, a plot of land and a position on the condition that they and their family members vote for the given party.
2. A member of the “Strong Armenia” party transferred money to a voter instead of household appliances promised under the guise of charity, violating the prohibition on charity during elections.
3. A supporter of the “Strong Armenia” party, together with two other individuals, obstructed and attempted to obstruct the free exercise of the electoral right of community leaders and residents of Syunik region, demanding that they vote for their political party, threatening them with negative treatment. In the same proceedings, one person was also charged with two counts of electoral bribery: he offered voters partial debt relief, promises of employment and resolving service issues in exchange for votes.
4. The head of the office of “Our Way” public organization, actually performing as the head of the office of “Strong Armenia” party, gave electoral bribes to four people on the condition that they vote for his party, and also, violating the prohibition on charity during the elections, transferred AMD 200 thousand to one citizen.
5. The regional head of the “Strong Armenia” party gave electoral bribes to 2 citizens, incited 2 people to participate in the rally held on April 17, 2026, promising material assistance in the form of food.
6. The head of the office of “Strong Armenia” party, together with the head of the office, with the assistance of three people, offered and gave electoral bribes in the form of money to 9 voters in Ararat region.
7. The person received an electoral bribe in the form of money from a supporter of the same party in order to vote for “Strong Armenia” party.
8. The candidate for Deputy of "Strong Armenia" party, together with his wife, promised to cover the cost of eye surgery for a resident of Syunik Region as an election bribe.
9. A supporter of "Prosperous Armenia" party promised bribe in the form of money a resident of Stepanavan town.
10. The Head of the office of "Strong Armenia" alliance of parties of Avan Administrative District of Yerevan city, together with other individuals, gave voter bribes in the form of money.
11. The head of the office of "Strong Armenia" alliance of parties of Ajapnyak Administrative District gave bribes in the form of money in 5 cases.
12. The head of the office of "Strong Armenia" alliance of parties of Metsamor community gave bribes in the form of money.
