On May 29, 2026, at the invitation of the Head of the “Leadership School” Foundation, Samvel Movsisyan, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan participated in the graduation ceremony 2025-2026 academic year of the School.

 

The event was also attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Sargsyan, the Head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vasilis Maragos, ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Armenia, representatives of international organizations, lecturers and students of the School.

 

Anna Vardapetyan congratulated the graduates on the successful completion of the “Leadership School” and touched upon the questions: who is a leader, what qualities does he/she possess?

 

In this context, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia touched upon the issue of distortion and manipulation of values ​​in the modern world. “No matter how much values ​​are manipulated in today’s world, there are values ​​that will never “go out of date.” These are: good conduct, diligence, responsibility, and the ability to modestly serve others. This is not about servility. This is about the ability to turn knowledge into a public good. Leaders differ from others in that although these people “fall”, make mistakes, they always rise and, most importantly, they get up every time without leaving their values ​​on the ground,” the Prosecutor General of the Republic emphasized and added that the life of a civilized person is measured by the durability of the ideology to which a person “sacrifices” his life. Anna Vardapetyan considered it important on this path not to be disappointed and not to give up.

 

The Prosecutor General congratulated the graduates once again and wished them success on their difficult and responsible journey.
