Within the scope of its powers to protect State (community) interests, on 20 March 2026, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Ararat region filed a claim with the Anti-Corruption Court against the Head of the Jermuk Community and “Animal World” LLC, demanding to declare invalid the auction of a 0.3 ha land plot held on 27 January 2008 and to apply the consequences of invalidity.

By its judgment of 12 August 2026, the Anti-Corruption Court granted the claim filed by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Ararat region. The judgment declared invalid the auction of the 0.3ha land plot located in the settlement of Gndevaz. As a consequence of the invalidity of the auction, among other things, the state registration of the ownership right to the land plot in the name of “Animal World” LLC was declared invalid.

Once the judgment enters into legal force, the 0.3 ha land plot will be returned to the Jermuk Community.
