The Prosecutor General’s Office requires to confiscate from the doctor 4 immovable properties in the city of Yerevan, 8 movable properties and AMD 386 000 000 of illicit origin

Another statement of claim on the confiscation of property of illicit origin was accepted into the proceedings of the Anti-corruption court on April 17.

 

The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office submitted a request to the Anti-corruption Committee on confiscating from A.S (RA citizen, optometrist) and persons affiliated with the latter:

 

  • 4 immovable properties located in the city of Yerevan, 8 movable properties and where impossible—the average market value thereof, which shall amount to AMD 606 102 500;

 

  • AMD 9 912 752 as a remainder of illicit income;

 

 

  • AMD 386 919 865 which is not substantiated by the lawful income during 1996-2022, has an illicit origin, was transferred to bona fide third party or is impossible to identify and confiscate.
