The Prosecutor’s Office is demanding about 20 pieces of real and personal property, worth approximately AMD 1.6 billion, to be confiscated from Ashot Arzumanyan, who held various positions in the State Revenue Committee

The Anti‑Corruption Court has accepted for consideration another claim filed by the General Prosecutor’s Office regarding the confiscation of property of illicit origin.
The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office has filed a demand to the requesting to confiscate assets in favor of the Republic of Armenia from Ashot Arzumanyan, who held various positions in the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia and was formerly the Head (or Acting Head) of the Staff of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, as well as from his affiliated persons.
• 16 real estates, out of which 14 are located in Yerevan City, in Kentron Administrative District, 1 is in Jrvezh community of Kotayk Region, and 1 is in Ashtarak community of Aragatsotn Region;
• 3 transportation means;
• participation in 8 legal entities;
• a bank deposit in the amount of 60 726 USD;
• the right to claim an unrecovered loan in the amount of AMD 254 million 505 thousand drams;
• AMD 269 million 226 thousand as the remaining amount of illicit funds;
• AMD 1 billion 103 million 270 thousand that are not substantiated by the person’s lawful income, have an illicit origin, have been transferred to a bona fide purchaser, or cannot be identified and confiscated.
