Today, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan was received by Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze within the framework of her working visit to Georgia at the invitation of Prosecutor General of Georgia Giorgi Gvarakidze.

During the meeting, issues related to the development of cooperation in the law enforcement sectors and the expansion of cooperation between the competent authorities of the two countries were discussed.

The importance of strengthening the partnership established between Armenia and Georgia in the legal sphere, based on mutual trust, constructive dialogue and readiness to jointly respond to common challenges, was emphasized.

The parties also discussed opportunities for the continued development of joint efforts in combating crime and international cooperation.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the close relations established between Armenia and Georgia and the existing potential for cooperation are important prerequisites for the further development of partnership in the legal sphere.
