The Prosecutor’s Office had previously reported that, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia, based on the motion of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, three representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia had been conferred state awards and a class rank by decrees of the President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan.

In particular:

Ø  Armen Panosyan, Head of the Department of Supervision over Legality of Pre-trial Proceedings in the RA Anti-Corruption Committee of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia, First Class Counsellor of Justice, had been conferred the class rank of Third Class State Counsellor of Justice.

Ø  Koryun Serobyan, Head of the Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia, had been awarded the Mkhitar Gosh Medal.

Ø  Tsovak Mnatsakanyan, Deputy Head of the Department of Supervision over Legality of Pre-trial Proceedings in the RA Anti-Corruption Committee of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia, had been awarded the Mkhitar Gosh Medal.

Considering that, due to an official business trip, Tsovak Mnatsakanyan had not attended the state award presentation ceremony held at the Residence of the President of the Republic, today, during the meeting of the Collegium of the Prosecutor’s Office, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan presented him with the Mkhitar Gosh Medal.

The Prosecutor General congratulated the award recipients, emphasised the importance of their work and noted that the state awards and the conferred class rank are recognition of their professional activity, responsibility and conscientious performance of official duties.
