The Prosecutor’s Office of Syunik Region, within the scope of its powers to protect state (community) interests, examined the legality of the documents concerning the granting to an individual of a territory of 10,000 sq. m in the Hydro park of Sisian community, Syunik Region.

The study established that the entire territory of the Hydro park, with an area of 10,000 sq. m, was granted to an individual on a lease for a period of 50 years on September 16, 2003, for improvement and landscaping; however, as a result, the park turned out to be in unsatisfactory condition.

The prosecutor sent a petition to the Head of the Sisian community requesting measures to terminate the lease agreement concluded between the Sisian community and the tenant on September 16, 2003.

Based on a petition, as a result of measures taken by the competent authorities of the Sisian municipality, on September 30, 2026, the Cadastre Committee terminated the lease right of an individual for a park with an area of 10,000 sq. m; the park, with a cadastral value close to the market value and amounting to AMD 30 million, was fully returned to the Sisian community.
