The article entitled “Human Trafficking in Armenia: The Evolution of Legal and Practical Frameworks”, authored by Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan, was published in the October 2026 professional journal of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP News, No. 102).

In the article, the Prosecutor General presented the development of the legal framework for combating human trafficking in the Republic of Armenia, the legislative reforms implemented in the field, as well as the practice of investigating and prosecuting trafficking cases.

The article also presented the results achieved in detecting trafficking cases, protecting victims, ensuring inter-agency cooperation, and confiscating property of illicit origin obtained through criminal activity.
