On December 2, 2024, the Prosecutor General’s Office filed a claim with the Anti-Corruption Court against the enlarged Vedi community of the Ararat region (Goravan community) and an individual, seeking to have the auctions of land plots with a total area of 515 hectares declared invalid and the consequences of their invalidity applied.

By the judgment of the Anti-Corruption Court dated September 23, 2026, the claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office was granted: the auctions of 11 land plots belonging to the enlarged Vedi community of the Ararat region (Goravan community), with a total area of 515 hectares and a cadastral value of AMD 37,031,000, were declared invalid.

After the judgment enters into legal force, the Prosecutor’s Office will apply to the Cadastre Committee to register the Vedi community’s ownership rights over the aforementioned land plots.
