On 24 November 2025, within the framework of its powers to protect state (community) interests, the Prosecutor’s Office of Armavir region filed a claim with the Anti-Corruption Court against the former Head of Argavand settlement of Metsamor community and his son, demanding to declare invalid the auction of a 0.12 ha land plot and to apply the consequences of invalidity.

By the judgment of the Anti-Corruption Court dated 19 October 2026, the claim of the Prosecutor’s Office of Armavir region was granted. The auction of 11 May 2008 concerning the 0.12 ha land plot located in Argavand settlement (formerly a community) of Metsamor community, Armavir region, was declared invalid and, as a consequence of invalidity, the immovable property sale and purchase agreement concluded between Argavand community and the son of the former Head of the Community, as well as the state registration of the private individual’s ownership right, were also declared invalid.

After the judgment enters into legal force, the 0.12 ha land plot will be returned to Metsamor community of Armavir region.
