The Prosecutor's Office has filed a petition with the "Sevan National Park" SNCO to terminate the right for construction on a 3,000-square-meter plot of land on the shore of Lake Sevan
The Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General's Office has filed a petition with the Director of the "Sevan National Park" SNCO (hereinafter referred to as the SNCO) and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment to take measures to terminate the right to construct a 3,000-square-meter plot of land on the shore of Lake Sevan, signed on June 1, 2005 between the SNCO and "Sedrakyan Husik and Friends" LLC.
The Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General's Office, within the framework of its authority to initiate a lawsuit to protect state (community) interests, has examined the development agreement signed between the SNCO and the LLC and relevant documents. As a result of the study, it was found that the term of the lease agreement was set until March 12, 2011. However, according to the statement provided by the Cadastre Committee, there is no data on the termination of the construction right arising from the agreement.
Based on the above, as well as taking into account the fact that according to the agreement, after the expiration of the term specified in the agreement, without prior notification to the owner, the constructor’s failure to terminate the possession and use of the land plot is not a basis for amending the agreement or extending the term, a petition was addressed to the SNCO to take measures to terminate the state registration of the construction right.
