The Anti-Corruption Court has accepted the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office against the Dilijan community, Artur Arshakyan, and former Minister of Nature Protection Aram Harutyunyan on declaring the auction held on October 12, 2012 invalid regarding a 0.8 ha plot of land located at 29/24 Maksim Gorki Street in Dilijan, declaring the real estate purchase and sale agreement signed between Artur Arshakyan and Aram Harutyunyan on June 20, 2017 invalid and applying the consequences of invalidity, including the demands to return the 0.8 ha plot of land illegally owned by Aram Harutyunyan to the Dilijan community.

At the same time, a measure of securing the claim was applied and the respondent Aram Harutyunyan was prohibited from performing any actions that would lead to a change in the factual or legal status of the land plot specified in the claim.

The investigation conducted within the framework of the authority to initiate a claim for the protection of state (community) interests by the Prosecutor General's Office, found that the 0.8 ha land plot was included in the list of restrictions of Article 60 of the Land Code, which is an "ecological forest" operational land of "specially protected nature areas" lands, that could not be alienated to individuals.
