The most important resource of the Prosecutor's Office is people who are high-principled, professional, moral and dedicated to their service. The Prosecutor General held a board meeting
On July 4, 2026, expanded board meeting of the Prosecutor's Office was held on the occasion of the Day of the Prosecutor’s Office Employee and the 108th anniversary of the foundation of the Prosecutor’s Office, chaired by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan.
The Prosecutor General congratulated the prosecutors and employees of the Prosecutor's Office on their professional holiday and noted:
"Over the past few days, Yerevan has become a place for international dialogue of the prosecutorial community. From now on, every year on July 1, on the occasion of the Day of the Prosecutor's Office Employee and within the framework of the Armenian Platform for the European Prosecutors Dialogue, a high-level conference of this format will be held in Armenia.
The conference, held with the participation of prosecutors from European countries, including prosecutors general and partners from the Council of Europe and the European Union, as well as the best experts in the field, reaffirmed that the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia is a reliable and reputable partner, able to conduct discussions in the format of professional dialogue, cooperate at the appropriate level within the framework of criminal proceedings, and keep pace with the development of law.
Dear colleagues,
Congratulations on your professional holiday. Over the past few years, we have started an important path of reforms together. We have consistently worked and continue to work in the areas of increasing the efficiency of the prosecutor's work, enhancing the reputation and good image of the prosecutor, making the prosecutor's system an attractive and stable place of work for qualified lawyers, improving the working and social conditions of the prosecutor, expanding international cooperation, applying innovative solutions in the work of the prosecutor, and ensuring reliable communication with the public.
Every year on this day, we look back and assess what changes we have brought about with our work over the past year, what value orientations we have, whether we have contributed to the formation of respect for the law, the protection of state interests, and whether the reputation of the Prosecutor's Office has been strengthened as a result of our behavior.
These questions are relevant to each of us, because every achievement, every reform, every success begins and ends with people.
I express my gratitude to the well-behaved, professional and dedicated prosecutors and employees of the Prosecutor's Office.
I am grateful for the service, professional training, for principle and honesty, for the silent, often invisible work, as a result of which people's rights are protected, the violated balance of justice is restored, and the interests of the state and society are protected.
Prosecutor is an official who has responsibility of serving the state, who has responsibility of solving the problems of those who have suffered as a result of violated justice, who has sufficient will and self-control to make difficult decisions, to withstand pressure, who is able to be guided by the law and conscience.
It is not difficult to stand on this path; it is difficult to stay on that path and continue walking along it.
Being a prosecutor means seeing in each decision not only a separate case, but also its impact on the state, society and legal order. Being a prosecutor means serving one's professional activities not only for personal, but also for public benefit. It means realizing that with your daily work you form the trust of citizens in the law.
Trust is the hardest and at the same time the most fragile unit. It is achieved through long-term consistent, honest and professional behavior and can be shattered in a second if dishonest and insincere behavior is demonstrated.
Dear colleagues,
We face many challenges ahead of us, but I am confident that we have the most important resource: people who are dignified, principled, professional and dedicated to their service.
We will continue to develop a prosecutor's office that will strengthen the rule of law through its activities, ensure the protection of state interests, enjoy the trust of society, and be a modern, efficient, and responsible state institution.
I wish you and your families health, peace, strength, and unlimited energy.
My congratulations on the Day of the Prosecutor's Office Employee and the 108th anniversary of the establishment of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia."
