Prosecutors supervising corruption cases have submitted 43 criminal proceedings concerning election-related crimes involving 153 persons to court
From 7 February 2026, when the process of the regular National Assembly elections commenced, up to the present, prosecutors of the Department of Supervision over Legality of Pre-trial Proceedings in the RA Anti-Corruption Committee of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia have submitted 43 criminal proceedings concerning election-related crimes involving 153 persons to the competent court along with approved indictments.
These proceedings include:
1. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of two counts of giving an electoral bribe and 2 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
2. 1 criminal proceeding involving 5 persons accused of three counts of giving an electoral bribe, violating the prohibition on charity, and receiving an electoral bribe.
3. 1 criminal proceeding involving 2 persons accused of violating the prohibition on charity and aiding its violation.
4. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of giving an electoral bribe and of two counts of materially inducing participation in a rally, and 1 person accused of receiving an electoral bribe as part of a group.
5. 1 criminal proceeding involving 3 persons accused of obstructing the exercise of electoral rights, as well as attempt and preparation thereof.
6. 1 criminal proceeding involving 2 persons accused of giving an electoral bribe, 5 persons accused of aiding the giving of an electoral bribe, and 6 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
7. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
8. 1 criminal proceeding involving 2 persons accused of giving an electoral bribe.
9. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of giving an electoral bribe and 1 person accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
10. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of two counts of giving an electoral bribe, 2 persons accused of giving and receiving an electoral bribe, and 2 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
11. 1 criminal proceeding involving 2 persons accused of giving an electoral bribe and 6 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
12. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of two counts of giving an electoral bribe, violating the prohibition on charity, and materially inducing participation in a rally, 2 persons accused of giving an electoral bribe, and 2 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
13. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of giving an electoral bribe and 1 person accused of both giving and receiving an electoral bribe.
14. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of eight counts of giving an electoral bribe, 1 person accused of receiving an electoral bribe and attempting to obstruct the free exercise of electoral rights, 1 person accused of giving an electoral bribe, 1 person accused of two counts of giving an electoral bribe, 1 person accused of two counts of receiving an electoral bribe, 5 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe, and 1 person accused of five counts of giving and one count of receiving an electoral bribe.

18. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of giving an electoral bribe and materially inducing participation in a rally, and 6 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
19. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of two counts of giving an electoral bribe and preparing to obstruct the free exercise of electoral rights, 1 person accused of giving an electoral bribe, and 2 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
20. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of aiding the giving of an electoral bribe and of receiving an electoral bribe.
21. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of giving and receiving an electoral bribe and preparing to obstruct the free exercise of electoral rights, 1 person accused of receiving an electoral bribe and obstructing the free exercise of electoral rights, 1 person accused of aiding the giving of an electoral bribe, and 1 person accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
22. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of three counts of giving an electoral bribe, 1 person accused of aiding the giving of an electoral bribe, and 3 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
23. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of six counts of giving an electoral bribe, 1 person accused of six counts of aiding the giving of an electoral bribe, and 3 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
24. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of violating the prohibition on charity and preparing to obstruct the free exercise of electoral rights, 2 persons accused of aiding the violation of the prohibition on charity, and 1 person accused of preparing to obstruct the free exercise of electoral rights.
25. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of two counts of giving an electoral bribe, 1 person accused of giving an electoral bribe, and 2 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
26. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of attempting to give an electoral bribe.
27. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of two counts of giving an electoral bribe and violating the prohibition on charity, 1 person accused of aiding the violation of the prohibition on charity, and 1 person accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
28. 1 criminal proceeding involving 2 persons accused of giving an electoral bribe and 4 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
29. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of aiding the giving of an electoral bribe.
30. 1 criminal proceeding involving 2 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
31. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of sixteen counts of giving an electoral bribe, 1 person accused of fourteen counts of giving an electoral bribe, 3 persons accused of aiding the giving of an electoral bribe and of receiving an electoral bribe, 1 person accused of giving an electoral bribe, and 4 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.

43. 1 criminal proceeding involving 1 person accused of giving an electoral bribe and 2 persons accused of receiving an electoral bribe.
In particular:
- The head of the security team of the “Strong Armenia” Party offered two voters employment, an apartment, a plot of land, and a public position on the condition that they and their family members vote for the party.
- A member of the “Strong Armenia” Party, in lieu of household appliances previously promised to a voter under the guise of charity, transferred money to the voter, thereby violating the prohibition on charitable activities during the election period.
- A supporter of the “Strong Armenia” Party, acting together with two other individuals, obstructed and attempted to obstruct the free exercise of the electoral rights of community leaders and residents of Syunik region by demanding that they vote for their political force and threatening them with adverse treatment. In the same criminal proceeding, one individual was also charged with two counts of vote-buying, having offered voters partial debt forgiveness, employment opportunities, and assistance in resolving official matters in exchange for their votes.
- The head of the office of the “Our Way” NGO, who was in fact performing the functions of the head of a “Strong Armenia” Party office, gave electoral bribes to four individuals in exchange for voting for the party. In addition, in violation of the prohibition on charitable activities during elections, he transferred AMD 200,000 to one citizen.
- A regional coordinator of the “Strong Armenia” Party gave electoral bribes to two citizens and induced two other individuals to participate in a rally held on 17 April 2026 by promising them material assistance in the form of food products.
- The head of a “Strong Armenia” Party office, together with the office coordinator and with the assistance of three other individuals, offered and gave electoral bribes in the form of cash to nine voters in Ararat region.
- An individual received an electoral bribe in the form of money from a supporter of the “Strong Armenia” Party in exchange for voting for the party.
- A parliamentary candidate of the “Strong Armenia” Party, together with his wife, promised to cover the cost of an eye surgery for a resident of Syunik region as an electoral bribe.
- A supporter of the “Prosperous Armenia” Party promised a resident of the town of Stepanavan an electoral bribe in the form of money.
- A representative of the “Strong Armenia” Alliance gave electoral bribes in the form of cash to residents of an administrative district.
- The head of the Ajapnyak administrative district organization of the “Strong Armenia” Alliance gave an electoral bribe in the form of cash to a voter.
- The head of the Metsamor branch of the “Strong Armenia” Alliance in Armavir region, together with other representatives, gave electoral bribes in the form of cash to residents of the community.
- A supporter of the “Strong Armenia” Party gave an electoral bribe in the form of cash to a resident of Yerevan's Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district.
- The head of the Ani community organization of the "Strong Armenia” Alliance in Shirak region gave an electoral bribe in the form of cash to a resident of the same community.
- Supporters of the “Prosperous Armenia” Party violated the prohibition on charitable activities by providing construction materials to a resident of Gyumri for the renovation of the person's home.
- The head of the election campaign headquarters of the “Strong Armenia” Alliance located on Sebastia street gave an electoral bribe in the form of cash to a voter.
- The coordinator of the “Prosperous Armenia” Party in Artik community, Shirak region, gave an electoral bribe in the form of cash to a resident of the same community.
- A supporter of the “Strong Armenia” Alliance gave an electoral bribe in the form of cash to a voter.
- A representative of the “Strong Armenia” Alliance, acting together with other individuals, gave electoral bribes in the form of cash to residents of Yerevan's Avan administrative district and also attempted to obstruct the free exercise of a person's right to vote.
- A supporter of the “Prosperous Armenia” Party aided the giving of an electoral bribe and personally received one.
- The head of the Jermuk community organization of the “Strong Armenia” Alliance, together with other individuals, gave electoral bribes to voters and also obstructed the free exercise of their electoral rights.
- A parliamentary candidate of the “Prosperous Armenia” Party, acting together with other individuals, gave electoral bribes in the form of cash to voters.
- Members of the “Strong Armenia” Alliance promised electoral bribes to residents of Alaverdi community in Lori region, and the offers were accepted by the voters.
- A parliamentary candidate of the “Strong Armenia” Alliance, acting with the direct intent to influence the free expression of the will of a group of voters displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh in the town of Tashir, Lori region, paid their apartment rent free of charge under the guise of charity.
- Supporters of the “Prosperous Armenia” Party promised electoral bribes in the form of cash, and the offers were accepted by the voters.
- The territorial coordinator of the “Strong Armenia” Party in Vedi community, Ararat region, promised voters electoral bribes in the form of cash.
- The head of the “Prosperous Armenia” Party offices located in various settlements of the Alaverdi community, acting pursuant to a prior agreement with other members of the same party, gave electoral bribes to a group of voters in various settlements of the Alaverdi and Lori Berd communities in order to secure their participation in the elections and their votes in favor of the party. The individual was also charged with violating the prohibition on charitable activities during the election period.
- Supporters of the “Strong Armenia” Party gave electoral bribes to a number of voters in the Gyumri community and promised to provide such bribes to others in installments.
- An individual acting on behalf of the “Strong Armenia” Alliance gave electoral bribes to residents of the Jermuk community in Vayots Dzor region.
30.The coordinator of the “Strong Armenia” Alliance office operating in the Ashtarak community of Aragatsotn region, under the guise of charity, promised and provided electoral bribes free of charge.
- Candidates of the “Prosperous Armenia” Party, with the assistance of supporters of the same party, gave electoral bribes in the form of cash to residents of Lori region.
- A supporter of the “Strong Armenia” Party offered an electoral bribe to a voter and also promised to cover the cost of the voter's airline tickets between the Russian Federation and Armenia in both directions. The offer was accepted by the voter.
- A supporter of the “Prosperous Armenia” Party, together with responsible officials of the party, offered an electoral bribe to a voter, and the offer was accepted.
- A supporter of the “Hayastan” Alliance, acting in concert with other individuals whose identities have not yet been established, offered an electoral bribe to a voter as part of a group acting pursuant to a prior agreement.
- A supporter of the “Strong Armenia” Party offered an electoral bribe to a voter and also promised to cover the cost of the voter's airline tickets between the Russian Federation and Armenia in both directions. The offer was accepted by the voter.
- The head of the Goris territorial office of the “Strong Armenia” Party offered to pay for eye surgery for voters as an electoral bribe.
- A representative of the territorial campaign headquarters of the “Strong Armenia” Party in the Masis community of Ararat region promised a voter that the voter's high-interest loan obligations would be repaid.
- Coordinators of the “Strong Armenia” Party offices operating in the enlarged communities of Yeghegnadzor and Vayk in Vayots Dzor region gave electoral bribes to voters.
- Coordinators of the “Strong Armenia” Party offices operating in the enlarged community of Vanadzor in Lori region offered electoral bribes to voters and also obstructed the free exercise of electoral rights.
- The head of the “Hayastan” Alliance office operating in the town of Spitak violated the prohibition on charitable activities during the election period and also interfered with the free exercise of electoral rights.
- Supporters of the “Strong Armenia” Party promised electoral bribes in the form of cash, and the offers were accepted by the voters.
- Supporters of the “Prosperous Armenia” Party promised cash electoral bribes to several residents of the city of Vanadzor, disguising the payments as salaries.
- Supporters of the “Strong Armenia” Alliance promised an electoral bribe in the form of cash to a voter, and the offer was accepted.
