Prosecutor General visited Ijevan city park returned to Ijevan community as a result of prosecutorial intervention

On 18 July 2026, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan, paid a working visit to Tavush region.

 

Accompanied by Gevorg Sargsyan, Prosecutor of Tavush region, Anna Vardapetyan had a tour along the territory of the Ijevan city park, which had been returned to the Ijevan community as a result of prosecutorial intervention and successful court proceedings. She then held a working meeting at the Prosecutor's Office of Tavush region and issued a number of instructions.

 

It should be recalled that, to date, through the use of the above-mentioned legal mechanisms, the following properties located within Ijevan cty park have been returned to Ijevan Community:

 

  • a 208 sq. m land plot located at 9 Taterakan street;
  • a 0.04 ha land plot located at 1/30 Valans street;
  • a 19 sq. m land plot located at 18 Taterakan street;
  • a 350.1 sq. m land plot located at 18/7 Taterakan street;
  • a 19.8 sq. m land plot located at 18/5 Taterakan street;
  • a 436 sq. m land plot located at 1/55 Ankakhutyun street;
  • a 0.06 ha land plot located at 1/29 Valans street;
  • a 0.001 ha land plot located at 1/62 Ankakhutyun street;
  • a 436.8 sq. m land plot located at 1/54 Ankakhutyun street;
  • a 1,500 sq. m land plot located at 1/41 Ankakhutyun street;
  • a 0.03 ha land plot located at 18/6 Taterakan street;
  • a 0.03 ha land plot located at 1/27 Valans street;
  • a 351 sq. m land plot located at 1/28 Valans street;
  • an 18 sq. m land plot located at 18/3 Taterakan street;
  • a 12 sq. m land plot located at 18/2 Taterakan street.

 

In addition, as a result of prosecutorial intervention, a 0.03 ha land plot adjacent to the fountains of the city park has also been returned to the possession and use of Ijevan community.
