Land Plot No. 9 located in the “May 28” Park of Sisian community was returned to the possession of the community as a result of prosecutorial intervention
Within the framework of its powers to protect state and community interests, the Prosecutor’s Office of Syunik region examined the documents concerning the allocation of land plots located in the area of the “May 28” Park in the city of Sisian, Syunik region, to various persons.
As a result of the examination, it was established that a 0.03 ha land plot located at 22/8, in the area of the “May 28” Park in the city of Sisian, had been allocated to an individual with a right of development, in violation of the requirements of the law.
The prosecutor submitted a motion to the Head of Sisian community demanding that measures be taken to terminate the right of development concluded between Sisian community and the developer on 7 July 2009.
On the basis of the motion, as a result of measures undertaken by the competent authorities of Sisian Municipality, the right of development registered with the Cadastre Committee in respect of the 0.03 ha land plot located in the “May 28” Park of Sisian Community, with an approximate cadastral value of AMD 564,000, was terminated, and the land plot was returned to the possession of Sisian community.
It should be noted that the “May 28” Park in Sisian community, Syunik region, occupies an area of 9,595.68 sq. m, where the land plots have been allocated to 17 persons under agreements granting a right of development.
As a result of prosecutorial intervention, to date, 9 land plots with a total area of 4,934.48 sq. m, which had been allocated to 7 persons, have been returned to Sisian community from among the land plots located in the aforementioned park. These are:
- A land plot with an area of 0.03 ha;
- A land plot with an area of 0.05308 ha;
- A land plot with an area of 0.0450 ha;
- A land plot with an area of 0.05 ha;
- A land plot with an area of 0.0451 ha;
- A land plot with an area of 0.08 ha;
- A land plot with an area of 0.02 ha;
- A land plot with an area of 0.0402 ha;
- A land plot with an area of 0.13 ha.
The work to return to the community the 11 land plots allocated to 10 persons is currently ongoing.
