As a result of the implementation of the motion of the Prosecutor’s Office of Gegharkunik region, the fence of the Sevan residence illegally constructed by Ruben Hayrapetyan, former President of the Football Federation of Armenia and former Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, in the area of Lake Sevan located below its absolute elevation, has been dismantled, while the claim of the Prosecutor’s Office for the protection of state interests concerning the residence is pending before the court.

In addition to the residence, the Prosecutor’s Office has also filed claims for the protection of state interests concerning the administrative complex of the “Harsnakar” Hotel and the cottages of the “Harsnakar” Hotel.

It should be recalled that, as a result of the implementation of the motions of the Prosecutor’s Office, between December 2025 and 1 July 2026, illegally constructed main and non-main buildings and structures were dismantled (demolished) on 68 land plots located along the shore of Lake Sevan below its absolute elevation, and 2 agreements were terminated (discontinued) by the “Sevan National Park” SNCO.
