As a result of prosecutorial intervention, Nazik Amiryan’s leasehold right over a coastal land plot of Lake Sevan has been terminated
On 12 May 2026 the Prosecutor’s Office reported that the Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office had submitted a motion to the Director of the “Sevan National Park” SNCO (hereinafter, the “SNCO”) and the Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, requesting that measures be taken to terminate the lease agreement concluded between the SNCO and Nazik Amiryan on 26 December 2007 concerning a land plot located in the coastal area of Lake Sevan.
Pursuant to the motion of the Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office, on 13 August 2026, the Cadastre Committee terminated Nazik Amiryan’s leasehold right over a 0.3 ha land plot located in the coastal area of Lake Sevan, with a cadastral value approximating its market value of AMD 20 million 502 thousand. The land plot has been returned to the possession of the Republic of Armenia.
