As a result of prosecutorial intervention, another plot of land located in the park of Ararat village has been returned to the possession of Ararat community
The Prosecutor’s Office of Ararat region, within the scope of its authority to protect state and community interests, examined the documents concerning the allocation of plots of land located in the park of Ararat village, Ararat region, to various persons under development rights.
As a result of the examination, i.a., it was established that the former Head of Ararat rural community had granted a 20 sq. m plot of land located in the park at 44/1 Haghtanak street, Ararat village, to a natural person under a development right for a term of 99 years on 10 August 2007. The examination established that the plot of land had not been used by the developer for its designated purpose.
The prosecutor addressed a submission to the Head of Ararat community demanding that measures be taken to terminate the development right agreement concluded between Ararat village and the developer on 10 August 2007.
As a result of the measures taken by the competent authorities of Ararat Municipality on the basis of the submission, on 24 August 2026, the registered development right over the 20 sq. m plot of land located at 44/1 Haghtanak street, Ararat village, with an approximate cadastral value at market value of AMD 375,000, was terminated by the Cadastre Committee.
It should be recalled that, on the basis of the prosecutor’s submission, on 24 August 2026, the Cadastre Committee also terminated the registered development right over the 14 sq. m plot of land located at 44/2 Haghtanak street, Ararat village, with an approximate cadastral value at market value of AMD 262,000.
Work aimed at terminating the latter agreement is currently underway.
