As a result of prosecutorial interaction, in the second quarter of 2026, damage of more than AMD 30 million was recovered from companies carrying out illegal subsoil use in Ararat Region.

During the indicated period, 3 criminal proceedings were initiated on the facts of various companies in Ararat Region violating the requirements foreseen by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia for the preservation and use of subsoil, as well as apparent cases of soil degradation.

Within the framework of criminal proceedings, public criminal prosecutions were initiated by prosecutors, and as a result of prosecutorial interaction, a total of AMD 30 million 121 thousand was recovered from the damage caused to the state and the community.

The preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding is underway.
