An article authored by Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan, entitled “Specific Features of Investigation Tactics in Domestic and Family Violence Cases in Armenia,” has been published in the July 2026 issue (No. 101) of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) News professional journal.

In the article, the Prosecutor General presents the legal framework and investigative practice established in the Republic of Armenia regarding domestic and family violence cases, as well as the approaches aimed at ensuring the effective conduct of criminal proceedings involving such offences.

Addressing the legislative reforms implemented in recent years, Anna Vardapetyan outlines the key features of the unified investigative practice in domestic and family violence cases, including the early assessment of the risk of repeated violence, the victim-centred approach, the protection of the best interests of the child, as well as the importance of effective evidence collection and coordinated cooperation among various state authorities.
