As a result of exa mminations conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office of Lori region upon the request of the Lori Regional Administration, it was established that the 22 entities leasing and actually possessing areas within Hrant Matevosyan Park in Vanadzor were using them in breach of the relevant contracts and for purposes other than those intended. As a result, the park had fallen into an unmaintained condition.

Following the studies conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office of Lori region, a representation was submitted to the Vanadzor Municipality requesting the termination of the lease and gratuitous-use agreements concluded with the aforementioned 22 entities.

As a result of the representation, on 14 August 2026, the leasehold right of a legal entity over another land plot located within the park, at 25/1-1 Lusavorichi Street, with an area of 332.2 sq. m and a cadastral value approximating its market value of AMD 3 million 490 thousand, was terminated. The land plot has been returned to the possession of the community.
