On 3 September 2025, the Prosecutor's Office of the Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts of Yerevan, acting within the scope of its authority to protect state (community) interests, filed a claim with the Anti-Corruption Court against former Mayor of Yerevan Gagik Beglaryan, demanding compensation for damages caused to the community in the amount of AMD 76,822,000.

By the Anti-Corruption Court's verdict of 9 September 2025, the statement of claim was accepted for proceedings. At the same time, the Court granted the prosecutor's motion and imposed an attachment on property belonging to Gagik Beglaryan up to the amount of the claim, namely AMD 76,822,000.

The claim was based on factual circumstances established in the course of one of the criminal proceedings.

By the verdict of the Anti-Corruption Court dated 7 July 2026, the claim filed by the Prosecutor's Office of the Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts was fully granted.

Upon the verdict enters into legal force, AMD 76,822,000 will be recovered from Gagik Beglaryan in favour of the Yerevan community as compensation for the damage caused to the community.
