On October 18, 2025, the Prosecutor General's Office filed a claim with the Anti-Corruption Court demanding to declare the auction held between Areni community of Vayots Dzor Region and an individual 2011 regarding a land plot, invalid and apply the consequences of invalidity. Taking into account that it is impossible to return the plot of land as it was initially, the Prosecutor's Office filed a claim to compensate for the market value of the land plot.

The Anti-Corruption Court, by its ruling of July 30, 2026, granted the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office.

After the ruling enters into legal force, the individual will return AMD 2 million 255 thousand to Areni community of Vayots Dzor Region.
