Following examinations carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office of Lori region in cooperation with the Administration of Lori region, it was found that 22 entities leasing and actually occupying areas of Hrant Matevosyan park in Vanadzor were using them in violation of contractual terms and for non-designated purposes. As a result, the park had fallen into an unsatisfactory condition.

Based on the examinations of the Prosecutor’s Office of Lori region, a motion was submitted to the Vanadzor Municipality proposing the termination of lease and free-use agreements concluded with the aforementioned 22 entities.

As a result of this initiative, as of today, 6 of the agreements have been terminated, and a total land area of 1,389.7 sq. m has been returned to the actual possession of the Vanadzor community.

Work on terminating the remaining agreements is ongoing.
