In the scope of the working visit paid to the Republic of Singapore, on September 9, 2025, Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia met with Stefan Blättler, Attorney General of the Swiss Confederation. 

Let us remind that Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia paid a working visit to the Republic of Singapore to participate in the 30^th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP). Anna Vardapetyan was elected as a candidate for a member of Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors during the 59^th meeting of the Executive Committee, held in Buenos Aires on April 08, 2025. The member of the Executive Committee shall be elected during today’s meeting.

Anna Vardapetyan thanked the Attorney General of Switzerland for accepting the invitation of bilateral meeting in the scope of IAP Conference as well as for discussing priorities of cooperation in the field of criminal justice. The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia highly appreciated the cooperation between the Prosecutor’s Offices of Armenia and Switzerland and thanked for the assistance provided by the Swiss colleagues in the scope of criminal proceedings investigated in Armenia and refereeing to money laundering. 

During the meeting, the participants also referred to the opportunities of development of international-legal cooperation between Armenia and Switzerland in the scope of criminal cases as well as prospects for deepening cooperation within the framework of Eurojust.
