Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia paid a working visit to the Republic of Singapore to participate in the 30^rd Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP). 

Let us remind that Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia was elected as a candidate for a member of Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors during the 59^th meeting of the Executive Committee, held in Buenos Aires on April 08, 2025. The member of the Executive Committee shall be elected during the meeting to be held on September 9.

The Executive Committee is IAP’s managing and administrative body. It is composed of President, Vice Presidents and 20 Members.

The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia became IAP member on January 1, 1999, and is being nominated as a member of the Executive Committee for the first time.

About 450 participants from 80 countries arrived in the Republic of Singapore to participate in IAP Annual Conference. 

The Association was established in 1995 and it aimed to support prosecutors worldwide to uphold the rule of law and to fully implement the IAP standards for professional conduct.

In the scope of the working visit paid to the Republic of Singapore, meetings of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia with the following participants are scheduled: Attorney General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prosecutor General of the Kingdom of Sweden, Attorney General of Swiss Confederation, Prosecutor General of Georgia as well as IAP President, Attorney General of the autonomous city of Buenos Aires.
