The Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General's Office filed a claim to the Anti-Corruption Court against the Abovyan community and an individual, in order to demand to declare the auction of the land plot located at 1/19/2 Hatis Street, Abovyan city invalid and apply the consequences of invalidity.

The claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office was granted by the decision of the Anti-Corruption Court on August 21, 2025. After the judicial act enters into legal force, the land plot located at 1/19/2 Hatis Street of Abovyan city will be returned to the Abovyan community.

The decision was based, among other things, on the fact that the alienated property is a land plot included in the list of restrictions of Article 60 of the Land Code and is not subject to alienation by individuals and legal entities.
