On February 19, 2025, under the leadership of Anna Vardapetyan, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, the activities of the Prosecutor's Office of Shengavit Administrative District of Yerevan City for 2024 have been summarized.

The summary meeting was attended by Yeghiazar Avagyan, Deputy Prosecutor General of Armenia, Rafayel Manukyan, Prosecutor of Yerevan City, Zhora Tovmasyan, Prosecutor of Shengavit Administrative District, Mher Aprikyan, Secretary General of the Prosecutor's Office, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Investigative Committee and Prosecutors of the Prosecutor's Office of the Administrative District and others.

Zhora Tovmasyan presented the report on the works of the Prosecutor's Office of Shengavit Administrative District for 2024. The Prosecutor informed that during 2024, prosecutors submitted 549 criminal proceedings to the competent court on 574 persons (in 2023 - 350 criminal proceedings on 386 persons). In 2024, 538 criminal cases on 571 persons were examined and completed in the courts (in 2023 - 364 criminal proceedings on 376 persons). Judgments of conviction on 460 criminal cases on 476 persons were delivered (in 2023 - 310 criminal proceedings on 315 persons). During 2024 the Prosecutor’s Office of Shengavit Administrative District submitted 2 claims to the competent court within the framework of protection of state and community interests.   

The Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan instructed to pay attention to the sphere of protection of state (community) interests in 2025, as well as to intensify the activities in cooperation with the law enforcement bodies against illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs.
