On November 29, 2024 the Anti-corruption court awarded the claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office and declared as invalid the sale and purchase agreement concluded on January 13, 2009 between the Ministry of Defense and E.A. on alienation of “Yeraskh-1” military unit, the value whereof amounted to AMD 60 million. As a result, the Court declared the registration of E.A.’s ownership right invalid.

Let us remind that on April 28, 2023, the Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office submitted a claim to the Anti-corruption court demanding to declare as invalid the sale and purchase agreement concluded on January 13, 2009, between the Ministry of Defense and E.A. regarding the alienation of the barrack of “Yeraskh-1” military unit with the surface of 2200 m² and other buildings as well as the land plot of special significance with the surface of 1.2 ha located at Armash village, Ararat region and as a result declare as invalid the state registration of E.A.’s ownership right.

Let us remind that on September 12, 2023, the Anti-corruption court approved the settlement agreement concluded between the abovementioned party and the Prosecutor General’s Office. As a result, the land plot of special significance with the surface of 9000m² and the buildings with the surface of 993.7 m² located at “Yeraskh-2” military unit, Armash village, Ararat region were attached to the State Property Management Committee of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.
