The Prosecutor of Ararat Region Vardan Poghosyan took part as a jury in the inter-university moot court competition titled “Main issues of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law” on 22-23 November 2024. The event was organized in the frame of the cooperation between YSU Faculty of Law and the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ). Nine teams from YSU, French University in Armenia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs Educational Complex, Northern University, Shirak State University, and Gavar State University submitted applications to participate in the competition.

In the final stage the teams "YSU-1," "YSU-2," competed with each other.

By the jury's decision, the team "YSU-2" was declared the winner, receiving the cup and awards from YSU Faculty of Law and the RA Prosecutor’s Office. 

Besides, the representative of the team "YSU-1” Edvard Movsisyan was awarded with the Honorary Certificate of the prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan for "The Best Prosecution Speech".
