On March 5, 2024, in the scope of her working visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia met Karim Khan, Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.

Viktor Biyagov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands also participated in the meeting. 

Let us remind that Armenia became a member of the International Criminal Court on February 1, 2024, thus becoming the 124^th state joining the Rome Statute and the 19^th state from the Eastern European group.

Anna Vardapetyan thanked Karim Khan for the meeting and mentioned that the meeting shall contribute to ensuring effective cooperation with the International Criminal Court, revision of domestic procedures and bringing them into compliance with the provisions of the Statute.

Several issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.
