On November 22, 2023 the Prosecutor initiated public criminal prosecutions against 3 individuals engaged in money laundering and illegal sale of drugs in especially large amounts through  “Ismoke”, “Ismoke420” և “Marc Emery Market” users of Telegram telecommunication application.

In particular, it was found out in the scope of the criminal proceedings that citizens of the Republic of Armenia V.M. and Kh.F were engaged in the illegal circulation of drugs in especially large amounts during 2019-2021 through “Ismoke”, “Ismoke420” և “Marc Emery Market” online marketplaces created and managed by KH.F. in Telegram telecommunication application.

Kh.F. organized the separation of drugs according to the necessary weight, packing and placing in hiding places located in the territory of the RA, after which he took photos of the locations of drugs and marked their  geographical coordinates through a software application.

V.M. managed Telegram marketplaces, corresponded with persons who wanted to buy drugs, reqired to transfer the price of the corresponding dose of the drug (In total about AMD 60 million 744 thousand) to cryptocurrency wallets, as well as to RA and foreign electronic wallets.

After receiving the photo of the payment receipt from the buyer, V.M. and Kh.F. sent the photos of drugs placed in different hiding places with the exact geographical coordinates.

Besides that, in August 2021 Kh.F. and V.M. obtained marijuana type of drug in the amount of 80 g from the user named “Davitvanhoktemberyan” through “Marc Emery Market” marketplace managed by them. They placed a part of the drug in the territory of Kotayk region, took photos and marked geographical coordinates and sent the photos to G.A. and H.H.registered in Telegram application under the name of “ՏՆՕՐԷՆՔ” and “Origin 666”. The latter packed a part of the obtained drug and hid it in Yerevan and different places of RA regions according to Kh.F’s instruction.

V.M. and Kh.F transferred the remaining part of the drug, with the total weight of 60.39 g to the place of residence of Kh.F. and hid it in his  warehouse.

On November 22, 2023 the prosecutor initiated public criminal prosecution against V.M. under point 2 of part 3 of article 393 and point 3 of part 3 of article 296 of the Criminal Code and against G.A. and H.H. under point 2 of part 3 of article 393 of the Criminal Code.

Notice:  A person charged with any crime shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code—by the judgment came into legal force.
