Three conscripts refused to participate in military operations. The prosecutor submitted the cases to the court

  1. On October 21, during the martial law declared by the Government's decision, V.H., a mandatory conscript of the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense, refused to perform the duties of leaving for military positions and carrying out protection in the guard area of the N military unit.

 

On October 12, 2023, the Prosecutor initiated public criminal prosecution against V.H. under Part 3 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code adopted on April 18, 2003 (performing one’s military duties during martial law).

 

 

  1. On October 20, 2020, during the martial law declared by the Government's decision, A.P. and A.E., the mandatory conscripts of the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense, refused to participate in military operations.

 

On October 23, 2023, the Prosecutor initiated public criminal prosecution against A.E. and A.P., under Part 3 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code adopted on 18.04.2003 (performing one’s military duties during martial law).

 

On October 17, 2023, the Prosecutor approved the indictments and submitted it to the Court of First Instance of Syunik region along with the files of the proceedings.
