The Anti-Corruption Court has accepted into proceeding the lawsuit of the Prosecutor General's Office on the confiscation of property of illegal origin.

The Department for the Confiscation of Property of Illegal Origin of the Prosecutor General's Office has submitted a request to the court to confiscate from Vrtanes Hakobyan /father’s name: Simon/ (accused of creating and leading a criminal organization, illegal trafficking of firearms and ammunition, and the sale of various types of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in particularly large amounts by a criminal organization) and his affiliated persons in favor of the Republic of Armenia:

• 1 immovable property in Yerevan.
• 4 movable properties.
• AMD 270 thousand as a remnant of illegal funds.
