Another land plot located in Ijevan City Park will be returned to the community: the latest claim of the Prosecutor’s Office for the state interests protection has been granted

On March 11, 2025, the Prosecutor General’s Office filed a claim with the Anti-Corruption Court against a natural person, with the Ijevan community of Tavush region as a third party, demanding the termination of the construction right of the natural person over a 12 sq. m. land plot located at 18/2 Taterakan street in the city of Ijevan.

 

By the verdict of the Anti-Corruption Court dated February 24, 2026, the claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office was granted. By the verdict, the construction right of the natural person over the land plot located at 18/2 Taterakan Street, Ijevan, was terminated.

 

After the verdict enters into legal force, the Prosecutor General’s Office will submit an application to the Cadastre Committee to carry out state registration of the termination of the natural person’s construction right over the mentioned land plot.

 

It should be recalled that, the following properties located within the territory of the Ijevan city park in the Ijevan community of Tavush region have already been returned to the community:

 

  • a 19 sq. m. land plot located at 18 Taterakan street;
  • a 350.1 sq. m. land plot located at 18/7 Taterakan street;
  • a 19.8 sq. m. land plot located at 18/5 Taterakan street;
  • a 436 sq. m. land plot located at 1/55 Ankakhutyun street;
  • a 0.06 ha land plot located at 1/29 Valans street;
  • a 0.001 ha land plot located at 1/62 Amkakhutyun street;
  • a 436.8 sq. m. land plot located at 1/54 Ankakhutyun street;
  • a 1500 sq. m. land plot located at 1/41 Ankakhutyun street;
  • a 0.03 ha land plot located at 18/6 Taterakan street;
  • a 0.03 ha land plot located at 1/27 Valans street.

 

In addition, as a result of prosecutorial intervention, a 0.03 ha land plot adjacent to the fountains of the city park has been returned to the possession and use of the Ijevan community.
