On March 12, 2025, the Prosecutor General’s Office filed a statement of claim with the Anti-Corruption Court against the Yeghеgnadzor community of Vayots Dzor region and a private individual, demanding to declare invalid the auction held on September 29, 2006, and to apply the consequences of invalidity.

By the verdict of the Anti-Corruption Court dated February 17, 2026, the Prosecutor General’s Office’s claim for state interests protection was granted. The court declared invalid the auction held on September 29, 2006, concerning the 0.03 ha land plot and, as a consequence of the invalidity, inter alia, declared invalid the state registration of ownership carried out in the name of the private individual.

After the judicial act enters into legal force, the 0.03 ha land plot will be returned to the Yeghеgnadzor community of Vayots Dzor region.
