On November 3, 2025, the prosecutor submitted to the Criminal Court of General Jurisdiction of the Yerevan city the files of the criminal proceedings concerning the individuals who appealed to and aided A.I., a person holding the highest rank in the criminal hierarchy.

According to the criminal proceedings investigated by the Investigative Committee, it was established that in December 2024, M.T. demanded that his brother, L.T., transfer to him the ownership rights to half of the land and building located on Proshyan Street in Yerevan—property that in fact belonged to L.T.’s family and was registered in the name of L.T.’s wife—with a total value of AMD 139,629,000.

L.T. rejected his brother M.T.’s demand, after which M.T. turned to A.I., a person holding the highest rank in the criminal hierarchy, seeking to use his unlawful influence to obtain the share of the property. In return for carrying out this arrangement, M.T. agreed that after receiving the real estate from L.T., he would transfer half of it to A.I.

A.I., who hold the highest rank in the criminal hierarchy, through one of his close associates A.T., organized a meeting with L.T. on January 15, 2025, in the area on Avanesov Street in Yerevan and illegally demanded to allocate 1/2 share of the real estate to M.T., but L.T. objected: an agreement was reached to continue discussing the issue on January 17, 2025.

On January 17, 2025, L.T., accompanied by his attorney and brother-in-law, arrived at the designated meeting place. L.T. was invited into a nearby room, where—after giving a negative response once more—A.I., a person holding the highest rank in the criminal hierarchy, together with other individuals whose identities have not yet been established, struck L.T. multiple times on various parts of his body, causing bodily injuries in the form of cerebral  contusions of the soft tissues of the head, face, and left wrist area, as well as multiple bruises.

On January 21, 2025, the prosecutor initiated public criminal prosecution against A.I. for holding the highest rank in the criminal hierarchy and for committing extortion in particularly large amounts. By the decision of the Criminal Court of General Jurisdiction of the Yerevan city, detention was selected as a measure of restraint against the accused A.I. and the latter was declared wanted for the purpose of discovering his location.

The prosecutor also initiated public criminal prosecution against M.T. for appealing to A.I., a person holding the highest rank in the criminal hierarchy and for seeking to obtain material benefit through the use of A.I.’s unlawful influence. A travel ban was selected as a measure of restraint against the accused M.T.

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against A.T. for aiding in holding the highest rank in the criminal hierarchy. Alternative measures of restraint were imposed on him—administrative supervision and bail in the amount of AMD 4,500,000.

On November 3, 2025, the criminal case files concerning A.T. and M.T., along with the approved indictment, were submitted to the Criminal Court of General Jurisdiction of the Yerevan city.
