In the scope of the working visit paid to the Republic of Singapore, on September 9, 2025, Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia met with Juan Bautista Mahiques, Prosecutor General of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, President of the International Association of Prosecutors.

Let us remind that Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia paid a working visit to the Republic of Singapore to participate in the 30^th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP). Anna Vardapetyan was elected as a candidate for a member of Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors during the 59^th meeting of the Executive Committee, held in Buenos Aires on April 08, 2025. According to the results of today’s elections, Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia was elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP).

Anna Vardapetyan thanked IAP President for trust and support and highlighted that it is an honor for her to be elected as a member of the Executive Committee and to continue the cooperation with the international community of prosecutors in this new format of professional dialogue. 

Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia emphasized the approach of the International Association of Prosecutors  aimed at the ongoing improvement of professional education of prosecutors and highlighted  that the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia also prioritize the organization of regular trainings for prosecutors. 

Anna Vardapetyan thanked IAP President for the invitation to participate in the annual conference and highlighted that the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia shall continue to strengthen the cooperation with the International Association of Prosecutors.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the possibility of organizing Association’s regional conference in Armenia.
