In the scope of “Come to village, life is here” initiative Anna Vardapetyan, met students from four settlements of Ararat region

On July 19, 2025, Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia visited Arevshat settlement of Ararat region at the invitation of Anahit Gevorgyan, Head of “Come to village, life is here” initiative. A meeting was organized with the Prosecutor General and more than 40 high-school students from Arevshat, Deghdzut, Abovyan and Kanachut settlements of Ararat region.
The meeting aimed at discussing the ways to strengthen the integrity and anti-corruption thinking and behavior.
During the discussion they referred to the characteristics of integrity, corruption manifestations as well as to the role of pupils in the fight against corruption and favoritism.
Ansqering students’ question regarding the importance of education, RA Prosecutor General highlighted that education is a path to freedom for her.
At the end of the meeting Anna Vardapetyan gave books to the students of four settlements of Ararat region.
Vardan Poghosyan, Prosecutor of Ararat region, Karlen Mkrtchyan, Head of Artashat community, Samvel Movsisyan, Chairman of the “Leadership School” and others also participated in the discussion.
