Damage in the amount of AMD 28 million caused to the state and community was recovered: the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of Avan and Nor-Nork administrative districts during 2024 was summarized

On February 22, 2025, the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of Avan and Nor-Nork administrative districts of the city of Yerevan during 2024 was summarized under the leadership of Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.

 

Yeghiazar Avagyan, Deputy Prosecutor General of the RA, Rafayel Manukyan, Prosecutor of Yerevan city, Davit Aghajanyan, Prosecutor of Avan and Nor-Nork administrative districts, Mher Aprikyan, Secretary General of the Prosecutor’s Office, Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Investigation Committee, prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of the administrative district also participated in the meeting.

 

Davit Aghajanyan presented the report on the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of Avan and Nor-Nork administrative district’s during 2024, referring also to the statistics of initiated proceedings, criminal proceedings submitted to the court as well as completed criminal cases. The Prosecutor of the administrative districts informed that 2321 criminal proceedings were initiated during 2024 (2615 criminal proceedings during 2023), 404 criminal proceedings regarding 438 individuals were submitted to the court with the indictment signed by the prosecutors (346 criminal proceedings regarding 399 individuals during 2023). During the same period 204 criminal cases regarding 217 individuals were completed in the courts (229 criminal cases regarding 243 individuals during 2023).

 

According to Davit Aghajanyan damage in the amount of AMD 42 million was caused to the state and community during 2024, wherefrom about AMD 28 million was recovered.
