On February 22, 2025, the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district during 2024 was summarized under the leadership of Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.

Yeghiazar Avagyan, Deputy Prosecutor General of the RA, Rafayel Manukyan, Prosecutor of Yerevan city, Armen Oseyan, Prosecutor of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, Mher Aprikyan, Secretary General of the Prosecutor’s Office, Heads of regional offices of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Investigation Committee, prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of the administrative district also participated in the meeting. Armen Oseyan presented the report on the administrative district’s work during 2024. The Prosecutor of the administrative district informed that 2410 criminal proceedings were initiated during 2024 (2494 criminal proceedings during 2023), 524 criminal proceedings regarding 550 individuals were submitted to the court with the indictment signed by the prosecutors (267 criminal proceedings regarding 276 individuals during 2023). During the same period 496 criminal cases regarding 529 individuals were completed in the courts (296 criminal cases regarding 316 individuals during 2023).

Referring to the work implemented in the scope of the powers of protection of the state and community interest, Armen Oseyan informed that the prosecutors of the administrative district conducted 26 examinations during 2024 (8 examinations during 2023), 16 statements of claim were submitted to the court.
