Based on the decision of Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia dated January 7, 2025, a disciplinary proceedings was initiated against the person holding an autonomous position at the Prosecutor’s Office of Erebuni and Nubarashen Administrative Districts of the city of Yerevan.
In the scope of the proceedings it was confirmed that the prosecutor violated the internal rules of labour discipline, the rules of conduct of a prosecutor on the regular basis and failed to fulfill his official duties, in particular, failed to show up for work for two working days without any legal basis.
The results of the disciplinary proceedings were submitted to the Ethic Commission adjacent to the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia on January 27, 2025.
By its decision of January 30, 2025, the Ethics commission confirmed the existence of disciplinary violation and the guilt of the Prosecutor.
Pursuant to the decision of the Prosecutor General dated January 31, 2025, disciplinary penalty in the form of “dismissal from office” was applied against the person holding an autonomous position at the Prosecutor’s Office of Erebuni and Nubarashen Administrative Districts of the city of Yerevan.
Pursuant to the order of the Prosecutor General dated January 31, 2025, the prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Erebuni and Nubarashen Administrative Districts of the city of Yerevan was dismissed from the position held.
